Sharing Places is the leading specialist disability support service provider in the ACT.
We support people living with severe and profound intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations, improve their wellbeing and reach their full potential in life - something that most of us take for granted.
Sharing Places participants are funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. While the costs of their participation are covered by the Scheme, Sharing Places requires additional philanthropic funding through donations to ensure that we can continue to run our administrative support functions, provide the necessary specialised equipment required for our programs and run and maintain our transportation fleet.
All of these additional costs are in direct support of our participants, and contribute to Sharing Places being able to provide the high quality supports that improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Your donation helps Sharing Places continue to provide a high quality specialised service to the people in our community who need it most.
Making a bequest or gift in your will is a unique way to support Sharing Places. A bequest or planned gift is a wonderful way to leave a legacy and help Sharing Places sustain its mission well into the future.
Estate planning provides an opportunity to meet your philanthropic, personal and financial goals. When you include Sharing Places in your will, you express your belief in our mission through a very special and important form of financial support. Your gift will make a lasting impact and help us meet our goal to continue to support people with severe and profound intellectual disabilities.
Your solicitor or trustee can help you with the wording of your bequest. Below is an example of wording.
Donations to Sharing Places can also be made by cheque.
