A person directed approach is taken in developing a participant’s individual plan. Sharing Places maintains a high emphasis on creating opportunities that lead to true social inclusion for individuals. Priorities are placed on social and civic activities; development of daily living and life skills including work readiness transition skills training; development and implementation of communication strategies and use of augmentative communication aids and development and implementation positive behaviour support plans leading to positive outcomes for all participants.
Sharing Places currently supports approximately 170 participants to access many and varied activities in their community.
